Our Attitude towards CSR (Fundamental Policy)
Every living individual in the city, the urban dweller, is our customer. Through different times and generations we understand what their desires are and by transforming and developing ourselves in order to meet these desires, we touch their hearts and provide services as well as a place for joy, satisfaction, thrill and happiness of the urban dweller.
In our business, we hope to make a contribution to society through our constant relationships with people from all walks of life and by carrying out our functions in society. Through the business activities of the Sankei Building Group, we strive to establish positive relations with our stakeholders and work towards achieving the CSR that we aim for.
We consider the fulfillment of corporate governance as a vital task so that we can provide a fair and transparent system of management and maintain sound operations. While also taking into consideration the maintenance of a fair management system, we have designed timely disclosure of our stock listing and have enhanced our website in order to provide speedy and proper information for our shareholders and corporate investors. We are working on the active disclosure of information through such activities as convening IR meetings that are held twice a year.
We develop real estate based on the philosophy of working in harmony with the environment.
We pursue energy conservation and the effective utilization of resources in our company properties and office buildings for lease and are engaged in activities towards environmental load reduction. In our office buildings, for instance, we utilize applications of natural ventilation systems through the use of facades and green walls and rooftops. In our LEFOND Condominiums, we take the environment into consideration through the adoption of solar generation systems. On top of that, we have ventured into the renovation business and while making full use of existing structures without having to resort to demolition, this has led to the upgrading of the property value of these structures. The buildings and of course, their premises, are fully renovated. Based on survey findings, we found that the total added value of the buildings are raised with the renovations.
As we aim for coexistence with urban dwellers, by promoting a variety of activities that utilize our company's distinct features and trademark, we continue to contribute to the development of better communities and in turn, a better society. We take part in area council meetings in Tokyo and Osaka. Through our active participation in events and activities, we encourage urban development. One will also find several artworks installed within properties of The Sankei Building. As a part of the Fuji Sankei Group, we sought the cooperation of the Hakone Open-Air Museum and by setting up art pieces that blend well with the space and the locality we have allowed our tenants and users a chance to enjoy areas graced with art.

We aim at all times to conduct business activities viewed from the customer's standpoint and thereby live up to the confidence we receive from our broad range of customers. We have taken disaster prevention measures in each of our properties and condominiums and hold emergency drills in our buildings twice a year.
For our IR activities (investor relations, public relations for shareholders and investors), we disclose timely and appropriate information of our management policy and financial data in order to gain the trust and correct understanding of our shareholders and investors. In addition to briefings and personal/individual coverage during the presentation for quarterly results, we make regular visits to our shareholders and investors. The IR Division responds to individual coverage and creates opportunities for focused meetings with our investors in Japan and overseas.
Each and every of our employees think of the balance between their jobs and personal lives and are making an active effort towards different approaches for work-life balance such as child care and nursing care support to lead fuller lives. We are aware of their needs and have been revising our system and practices to make them more relevant and convenient for our employees.

The Sankei Building Group is undertaking administration, surveillance and security measures with established prescribed standards and procedures in all our operations for the organization to soundly, effectively and efficiently manage and prevent malpractice and improprieties and committing mistakes and errors.
Fundamental policies are determined by a compliance committee and they conduct operations and the maintenance of three systems essential for company-wide compliance.
We push for creating a proper structure and providing education towards the storage and management of information, risk management and compliance.
We at Sankei Building have set out an Environmental Philosophy and an Environmental Policy that encompasses all of our efforts to tackle environmental issues.
